This is Not a Shoe Workshop with Merri-Bek City Council and RMIT University

Join "This is Not a Shoe," a hands-on workshop at RMIT University's Brunswick Campus on 31 August 2026 (5–7pm, $35), part of the Circular Campus to Community project with Merri-bek City Council. Led by Alex Sherlock and Pennie Jagiello, participants deconstruct a beloved, worn-out pair of shoes and reassemble the pieces into a commemorative flat-lay artwork, while learning about footwear construction and sustainability. Bring one meaningful pair of shoes; tools and materials provided. Ages 18+ only, due to sharp tools involved.
